Since I have time now I will start in my vacation catch up posts early.
We woke up at 4:30am to make the dive to OKC to catch our 8:30am flight. Since I was in four airports in one day I will give you a run down on all of them. OKC was a nice, new, and clean airport. The employees were efficient. The airport was uncrowded and quite. The flight planes went without a hitch. Thankfully! Phoenix was another story. It was loud, crowded, and quite interesting if you were people watching. The employees of the Phoenix airport were not kind and efficient. They were rude and abrupt. The airport was so crowded that there was not even enough room it stand in the vicinity of our gate. It was unorganized. Very unorganized. Thankfully the layover there was short. Just enough time to grab a sandwich and board the plane. Honolulu airport was interesting as well. The inter island planes are located in a very old and rundown portion of the airport. I am talking no air conditioning and AstroTurf. The flights we were boarding were in a slightly nicer portion of the airport. Kona airport was all outside. Everything was located in what looked like big grass huts. It was different. It went along with the theme of the island.
We arrived at the condo at about 5:45 pm. That is 11:45pm on the mainland. (central time) I was TIRED the went we reached the condo. But I had to see the beach and put my feet in the ocean. We went to bed at about 9 pm. Early for me! I woke up at 5 am I could not believe my watch. I was fully awake. Then the time difference came to mind. It is odd thinking it is a different time at home. It was nice though. We got an early start. To be continued..........
Sorry for the boring post. The next ones will hopefully be better.
Our flight leaves at 10:55pm in the 13 of May. We will arrive in OKC at 1:00 pm in the 14th. My next post will be from my computer and you get pictures!!!!!!!!!!!! I took at least a thousand. Are you ready?
