The Punishment Of All

Before you read this if you have not already read the post before it and the comments left by my faithful readers please do. If you don't you may be slightly confused.

Why has society decided to punish all for one's mistake. This is something that has always bothered me. I had to pay more taxes because of others dishonesty. Even though I was being perfectly honest. But never the less I still had to pay for it. I am sure all of you have these kinds of stories. Please share them if you want to. Punishment if wrong is a good thing, I am not disputing that. I am disputing the fact that because of someone's wrong all are punished. I know that there are rules and standards that must be up held. I also know that the well-doers can not be the exceptions to the rules. There will always be dishonesty in the world and the innocent will always have to pay for the mistakes of the wrong-doers. Now here is your brain buster for today. Have you ever punished the innocent for the mistakes for the guilty?

As a parent I'm sure I have. To have done so with complete knowledge of a situation, I don't think so.

Car insurance. Premiums go up for everyone when other people get in a lot of accidents.
