See my new pool! I wonder how many laps it will take to swim a mile? ;) As you can tell it has been raining here. The fire danger has been really high. We needed the rain. The fire danger is always very high this time of year. Two years ago our house almost burnt down. The fire burnt to the foundation is some spots. Pretty scary. I should post pictures if the crispy yard.** Update here are the pictures of the crispy yard.**

That first picture looks a bit like a slip-n-slide. I started to take pics of my yard yesterday too, but the junk around the house detered me.
I remember that fire well, I really thought your house was gone. Glad all was well. This rain has been nice, our pond was getting low.
Those pics are scary, indeed. We're in a fairly critical fire danger situation as well... but we haven't had the rain you guys have had. At least our wind has died down today. That's a Good Thing.
