Well I am going to try to post every day. Today I had a meeting with my boss. Teaching step is much harder than it looks. It's not like you jump in front of the class and start exercising. My biggest problem is being nervous. When I am nervous I forget to breathe and I forget everything. Listen to the music while you are too nervous to breathe is hard! But that's why I am in training! It's all going really well. I really like it.

Wow! That could be genuinely hazardous to your health, Ash! And I'm only half-kidding...
Ashley, I know how you feel. I'm not comfortable in front of people, and I'm not a natural teacher. I'm here to tell you, it does get easier.
One of the tricks a shodan taught me when I first started karate is to concentrate on breathing out. If you try to concentrate on breathing in, you may find yourself holding your breath. But if you concentrate on exhaling, your body will make sure you inhale. It's true, too, because in 5 1/2 years of karate, I have yet to purposely inhale.
