Waikiki Beach is beautiful. On the Big Island we did not see large expanses for sand. The beaches have more rocks. Big black lava rock. But Waikiki was a long beautiful white sand beach

That is the Hawaii that most people picture - white sands, umbrellas, perfect toes, etc.
